At the root, we’re either fearful of losing what we have now or not getting what we want in the future. Even with hopeful and positive intentions, these fears can easily hide out in our subconscious and creep up unexpected.

Release your fears with a special two hour Kundalini Yoga to Overcome Fear workshop with Allie on Sunday, September 17th at 1:00-3:00 pm in which we will practice a kriya (a set of exercises) and meditation to help us relax and release fear. Through this class we will explore our deep subconscious fears, dissolve tension throughout the body and bring ourselves to a state of calm in order to feel a deep sense of oneness. Give yourself this gift, release your fears, and relish in the resulting relaxation.

Saturday, September 16th10:45-11:45 amFoundations: An Intro to Yoga w/Shannon: This intro to yoga class highlights breathing techniques, the basic yoga poses in the flow sequence, and demonstration of true north alignment. Great for students developing a new practice or seasoned yogis in need of re-grounding their practice.

New Classes

Ashtanga Led Primary w/Shannon will now be offered on Sunday mornings (8:15-9:45 am): Ashtanga is a traditional vinyasa style practice involving a series of set poses performed in the same order, focused on breath, drishti and bandhas. The practice will challenge you and help you take your personal yoga practice to a deeper level.

PowerFit w/Priscilla on Saturday mornings (8:15-9:15 am): This class will challenge your body to a new level. With a slightly heated room and asana sequence focused on the core and glutes, this class will build strength and stamina enhancing your regular yoga practice.

Power Flow Jams: Throwback Thursdays w/Shannon (6:45-7:45 pm): This fun and energetic class follows Vinyasa flow style to different music themes each week! The first week will be 90's grunge featuring Bush, Nirvana, STP and more of your favs! Feel free to dress the part!

NAMI Amador presents "Peer to Peer Education" 5-week Course - Sept 2-30

Support for people with serious mental illnesses and disorders.
Saturdays starting September 2, 2017 ending September 30, 2017
From 9 AM to 1PM

Peer-to-Peer is a FREE 5-week course that teaches problem-solving skills and strategies, and offers practical and emotional support for people living with mental illness.
Led by NAMI state-certified instructors and mentors, each class builds upon the prior one, so participants must sign up and attend all five sessions.
The goal is to provide education about mental illness, emotional and practical support, independent problem solving and relapse prevention. You will gain knowledge and skills to cope more effectively with your personal diagnosis and recovery plans.
