About the Labyrinth Project
Labyrinths are an ancient pattern that people have walked for thousands of years. Unlike a maze, labyrinths have only one path that meanders, usually in a circular pattern, into the center, then back out again along the same path. Although it is considered a spiritual tool and is often called a Sacred Path, it does not belong to any religion or spiritual belief. All are welcome to walk. Labyrinth walking has been found to help people find peace, reduce anxiety and depression, gain insight, empower creativity, find their own center, speak to God/spirit/Higher Self, process grief, find emotional healing and release stress among many other things. Learn more about these amazing tools through free workshops, classes and labyrinth walks. The goal of The Labyrinth Project is to educate people about the Labyrinth as a wellness tool and to promote the building of public labyrinths in Amador County.
