Sutter Amador Hospital Hosts Diabetes Information Fair for the Community on April 26

With nearly 55 percent of Californians diabetic or pre-diabetic, Sutter Amador Hospital understands the importance of educating and screening the community for diabetes.
On Wednesday, April 26, the hospital will host a free Diabetes Information Fair for the community that will provide a variety of services including free blood glucose and lipid screenings, education materials, prevention tools, demonstrations, giveaways and more.
The Diabetes Information Fair is a wonderful way for members of the community to speak to multiple certified diabetes experts and sources regarding diabetes and diabetes prevention. Sutter Amador Hospital will have experts on hand to answer questions and provide guidance for diabetic care.
This event is free and open to the general public.

In addition to a general education on diabetes management, community members will have the opportunity to meet Certified Diabetes Educators and receive free blood glucose screenings and a free lipid panel. The hospital will also provide free education materials and drawings for attendees.
