After earning her bachelor of science in neurobiology, physiology, and behavior from the
of California Davis,
Rita received her board-certification as a physician assistant through the
university’s Department of Family and Community Medicine program.
Rita most recently comes to the
from Mercy Clinic White Rock in Plymouth
Health Center Rancho Cordova where she
functioned as the primary healthcare provider for patients through every stage
of life from newborns to adults. Prior to that, she provided routine
obstetrical and gynecological care and treatment at Creekside OB/GYN in Folsom.
Rita is fluent in Spanish and has a broad range of primary care experience
including physicals, sick visits, sports physicals and women’s health for
patients through every stage of life. She also has experience caring for
chronically ill patients and performing a wide range of procedures.

As a physician assistant for nearly 11 years, Rita has excellent knowledge and experience in treating patients of all ages.
