Working together we can create a trauma-informed community through education, prevention, support, and advocacy. "FRED" Talks are our very own Foothill Region Educational Discussions centered on the emotional well-being of our families - the foundation of our communities. These monthly talks will feature local experts in a variety of topics: maternal wellness, substance use, generational trauma, veteran families, Tribal TANF, car seat safety, tobacco education, and health & nutrition. October's discussion will focus on Community Mental Health Services in Amador County. These talks will emphasize early childhood mental health and protective factors to strengthen families. Discussions are designed to be brief so you can "dinner and learn," once a month. Light dinner will be provided. Please RSVP at 257-1092.
