Sutter Amador Hospital welcomes new physician to improve community health

JACKSON, CA – Sutter Amador Hospital is excited to welcome a new surgeon to accommodate surgical needs in our community.

Dr. Koh is a highly motivated, board-certified general surgeon with advanced skills in laparoscopic surgery, breast and colon cancer, endoscopy and surgical critical care. He is experienced in rural health and quality patient outcomes.
Dr. Koh graduated from the National University of Singapore School of Medicine. He completed his residency at Singapore National University Hospital and the Easton Hospital/Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia. Dr. Koh spent a significant portion of his training delivering surgical care in an acute, emergent setting.
​Dr. Koh was an attending surgeon at Western Missouri Medical Center, Warrensburg MO where he became familiar with the unique challenges and rewards of a rural surgical practice. He served as president, medical staff and assistant chief of surgery at Kaiser Permanente Modesto. He currently serves as the regional medical director of Surgical Affiliates.
