Dear Members and Friends of NYF, 
We have lots of new updates to the gym this month. A new instructor, lots of new classes, and new hours new hours and prices with Fit Kids! All the information on those can be found below.

If you have been away from the gym for a while or have never been a member now is the time to get started, by taking advantage of NYF's Summer Special.

We are also still looking for another Water Fitness Instructor, if you are interest or if you know someone who might be please contact me at New York Fitness.

NYF Summer Special!

$119 for 90 days!!! 

The NYF summer special is about to begin! Get into the gym between May 1st and June 15th to take advantage of this great deal! 
 
The summer special is open to all new members 14 years of age or older and members expired 30 days or more. No enrollment fee needed to participate!

After your 90 days have expired you can continue your membership at the discounted rate of $50 per month and a half price enrollment fee!
NYF Program!
Revolve- A new program designed by NYF Personal Trainer Whitney White.

The class is a combination of high intensity skills and drills formatted tabata style for circuit training. This class focuses on strength building, agility training, and stamina. For intermediate to advanced fitness level.

Classes will be held in the Studio. Starting Monday June 13th.
from 5:30 to 6:30pm.

Cost is $10 per class or $35 prepaid for 4 classes!
New Instructor!

Cheryl Weathford
Yoga has given Cheryl the tools for leading a more balanced life. In order to deepen her own practice she completed her 200 hour certified yoga instructor training through the Wanderlust studio located at the village at Squaw Valley, CA and holds a 200-RYT through Yoga Alliance. During this journey she discovered she enjoyed teaching and encouraging others along the path. She teaches Hatha yoga which includes slow, mindful movement from pose to pose. She offers the use of props and modifications to poses to make Yoga accessible to all.
Help Wanted
WATER FITNESS INSTRUCTOR
NYF has an immediate opening for a certified "water fitness instructor" to teach weekly classes or to substitute classes. 

Applicants should have knowledge of general population group techniques, including: shallow water aerobics, shallow water walking, and deep water aerobics. Flexible class hours.

Must have current certification in teaching some form of water fitness classes and a current CPR/AED certification.

Fit Kids
New Hours for Fit Kids!

Fit Kids will be changing its hours on June 6th to better meet your needs! The morning time slot will be from 8:30 to 11:30am(Monday - Friday) and the afternoon time slot will be from 4:30 to 7:00pm (Monday - Thursday).

Time Limit: 1 hour for ages 3 months - 1 year, and 1.5 hours for ages 1-12 year.


Rates: $5 an hour per child or $45 for 1 month for the first child and $15 for each additional child.

Maximum capacity is 8 children at a time and only 2 children under age 1. Reservations are recommended.

Interval
This 30 minute interval training workout involves a series of high intensity and low intensity exercises with designated rest periods. Designed to reap the benefits of a full body workout in a shorter time frame. This class focuses on core strength, full body mobility, and cardiovascular training.  Modifications are available for all fitness levels.

Wednesday- 6:00-6:30pm
Hatha Yoga
Includes slow, mindful movement from pose to pose while encouraging healthy body structure alignment

Come in for a ONE DAY FREE TRIAL. No strings attached! During your one day free visit, you will be entitled to attend any of our classes, enjoy our competition size heated pool, hot tub, steam room, sauna, racquetball courts, basketball court, weights area and cardio section!

Terms & Conditions: One(1) coupon per person. Must be 14 years or older to use facility. Under 18 must have parent signature. 14-15 year olds must be accompanied by an adult while in the facility. Only one(1) day pass per person valid during any 3-month period.
