April 2015
Dear Members and Friends of NYF,

There are so many new things going on this month, I'm having a hard time knowing where to start... Let's go with equipment! If you've been in NYF recently, you may have noticed some new cardio equipment; we have purchased an additional elliptical, step machine and ARC Trainer! You should see the ARC Trainer very soon; the other two are in place and ready for you to use.
Class Schedules: You will notice some changes in both the indoor and pool classes, including an extended 'Super' Deep-Water Cardio class with two start times: 5:00 & 5:30 pm. Jarrod's "AB Domination" pay-for classes have changed a bit: The Monday class has been moved to Tuesday evenings @ 6:30, and his Saturday class now begins at 8:00 am.
Something else you'll notice this month... A lot of activity in the PT room (formerly 'Excel Physical Therapy'). NYF is proud to announce the arrival of the newest physical therapy business, Fitzpatrick Physical Therapy! Marian and her group will be prepping their new office during the month of April for a May 1st opening. Their phone number is 209-223-9410; they are currently taking referrals through their Placerville office until this one opens for business. Please welcome them when you come in. This brings me to the last transition... The personal trainers' room will be located upstairs next to the Massage room, and the 'Back' Room is now in the 'Fit for Life' room next to the tanning room.
I hope you like what we're doing here. Your comments in last month's online survey are taken seriously, and I thank you for your responses!
                                                 - Laura Clark, Fitness Manager
